How To Join
The recruitment process of GDG on Campus ABESEC is designed to identify passionate, skilled, and enthusiastic students who are eager to contribute to the developer community. The process ensures fairness, transparency, and an opportunity for every applicant to showcase their abilities across multiple dimensions.
- Registration Form Submission: The process begins with the release of the official Recruitment Registration Form, which every interested student must fill out. This form contains department-specific questions tailored to evaluate the candidate’s interest, understanding, and suitability for the domain they wish to join, such as Technical, Design, Events, Promotion, Production or Social Media.
- Department-Specific Task Submission: Each department includes a dedicated task or assignment within the form. Applicants are required to complete and submit this task, allowing the team to assess their practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving approach relevant to the role they are applying for.
- Mandatory Coding Round (Non-Eliminatory): All registered students, regardless of department, must participate in a mandatory but non-eliminatory coding round. This round helps evaluate their logical thinking, familiarity with basic programming concepts, and ability to approach technical challenges. Though it does not eliminate candidates, it provides an additional layer of assessment and understanding.
- Shortlisting for Personal Interviews: Based on the quality of submitted tasks, candidates are shortlisted for the next stage. The shortlisting focuses on skillset, originality, effort, and alignment with GDG’s objectives.
- Personal Interview Round: Shortlisted candidates undergo a personal interview, conducted by the core team members. This round assesses their communication skills, passion for tech and community work, teamwork capabilities, problem-solving mindset, and long-term commitment toward the club.
- Final Selection: After evaluating their performance in the interviews, candidates are selected to become part of GDG on Campus ABESEC. Successful applicants officially join the community and begin their journey of learning, leadership, and innovation.
